CINEMATOGRAPHY REEL 2023

LATEST SHORT FILM

A perfectionist assassin experiences a descent into madness, revenge, and one classy party.

Another collaboration between Sky Deuel and I is one of the biggest, longest, and most ambitious films yet. This showcases some of our best work to date.

THE HOME — THE BROTHER — THE DEAL — THE CONSEQUENCE

Our most ambitious film to date LONG GONE DAY tells the story of a man forced to take his brother up on a dangerous job to provide for his family.

Directed by Sky Deuel I had the pleasure of working as DP along side of yler Oneal Westerweck. Many lessons learned on this project and through our trials, some of the best shots we made. Specifically, THE DEAL garage sequence is a favorite of mine.

This sets the tone for what we want to do next this level this scope, and hopefully getting even tighter with clearer vision with the insight we gained working on this.

Select essays, letters, and screenplays that I value—if only for myself.

There is no imagery here; instead, a piece of prose that may turn into something.

“I have often thought of how I would become wealthy, for since childhood, it seemed inevitable I would live the high life. I dreamt of nothing but luxury. But recently, the dream shifted. In a bathtub, overlooking the city, he drowns in his abundance, purple label soaking. His desire swallows him whole. Yet he’s at peace. I succumb to the pressure and begin to fade. And I think I like it… that’s when the fear sets in.”

Double Major in Philosophy & Political Science at UC Santa Barbara. Interested in existentialism, law, and beauty.

This page will eventually contain all three but is currently focused on the last as I continue to explore cinematography and photography.
