E.B. White wrote that only “congenitally self-centered” people wrote (and published) essays. Below are some essays written during my undergraduate career. Many have been revised since they were first submitted as midterms or finals; all need much more. Yet all capture some of my thinking on a range of subjects that, to at least one person, were once of interest.
